taylorfiercebuaya: Oh my gosh thats rough! I get all nervous when Dyl talks about being mortared just on his base, I can't imagine him in the infantry...you're a brave woman.
I know what you mean, every time Dylan talks about the stories, the things that’s happened I start worrying. But in the long run, I know he’s safe because in his words “The big man upstairs is watching us” :) Na, I’m not brave I just know what could happen and i’m willing to accept that.
taylorfiercebuaya: He's Army and I think 15n or 15j? I'm not quite sure, I know he works on helicopters
Ahhh :) Mine’s infantry<3
taylorfiercebuaya: Thank you! Mine's actually named Dylan too. We're not official, he's been my best friend forever but we're holding off on anything more until he finished this deployment. Best of luck to you and your Dylan too!
That makes perfect sense and it’s completely understandable. I didn’t start dating Dylan until 2 weeks after he returned from deployment. What branch and MOS is your Dylan? Thanks!
taylorfiercebuaya: Heather, have you heard of Daddy dolls? My soldier is in Afghanistan right now (halfway through a yearlong deployment yay!) and his mom got me one. They're so cute, its front and back with a picture of your soldier on it, and they can record a message that you can play whenever you miss them most. I know it sounds slightly creepy but its much better in real life than you'd think. Mine stays on my bed with me!
I have actually heard of them, Dylan told me about it. I’ll keep you and your man in my thoughts and prayers! I’m so glad you have one though. And I wish you and your man the best of times together<3
